This year’s event will be better than ever! Come down to the historic Minneapolis Riverfront and enjoy a day of great entertainment, exciting children’s activities and delicious summer foods. A spectacular fireworks show concludes the event at 10 p.m.
NEW THIS YEAR! The annual 4th of July celebration along the Minneapolis Riverfront is looking for quality street entertainers to add to the vibrancy and excitement of this event. Street performers, commonly known as ‘buskers,’ are encouraged to submit an application for the opportunity to share your talents and perform in front of thousands of visitors along the riverfront before the fireworks.

STONE ARCH BRIDGE CLOSED TO BICYLE TRAFFIC – 9:30-10:30 p.m., JULY 4
Due to high pedestrian traffic along the riverfront during this event, the Stone Arch Bridge will be closed to bicycle traffic from 9:30-10:30 p.m. on July 4.
